We hope you are all excited, because I am London kicks off this Thursday! Starting Thursday morning, we will introduce you to our first two Faces of London! You will be able to read their stories, see their photos, and (maybe most exciting) you will get to hear the interviews we did with them! Thursday morning we will release a podcast with the interviews of this week's Faces! We are also planning on airing these episodes on CHRW (more details on that to follow)!
I am London is a social media campaign, so that means, to be successful, we need you! We want you to tell your friends about the campaign, retweet on Twitter, share on Facebook, pass the podcasts on to others. Finally, let us know what you think! Ask questions, give suggestions, nominate someone for next year's campaign. We want to hear from you!
But you might be thinking, why should I care about I am London?
For two reasons: 1. These people are your neighbours and getting to know your neighbours makes our city better and strengthens the community and 2. These stories can be an inspiration to other people (especially other newcomers). You never know who might need to hear these words of encouragement.
